CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG FRONTS RSPCA NSW’S BIG DOG ADOPTION DRIVE
Clifford The Big Red Dog has joined forces with RSPCA NSW to celebrate BIG DOGS OF AUSTRALIA and help those in shelters find loving homes.
Launching Monday, December 6, Clifford will front RSPCA NSW’s weeklong Big Dog Adoption Drive as the poster pup, encouraging potential paw-rents to adopt not shop their new fur-friends.
With an emphasis on finding big love for larger breeds like Clifford that typically take longer to rehome, the Big Red Dog reminds all that big dogs have BIG hearts, BIG personalities and even BIGGER sloppy kisses, making them the best BIG friend.
“We have had almost 2,000 big dog breeds come into our NSW shelters this year and it is always a bit more of a challenge to find them new loving homes, which is why we have called in Clifford to lend a helping paw” says James Mason, RSPCA NSW Shelter Operations Manager.
“Dogs come in all shapes and sizes so if you keep your mind open to the possibility of a large breed dog you are more likely to find the right dog for you.”
When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big!
